What is your first reaction when I say the word "Winter"?
Do you rejoice for the moody days and cozy outfits, or do you lament the cold and refuse to surface from a grumpy stupor until Spring? I personally fall in to the latter category. I've always been a Summer gal; the months of June-August are by far my least favourite and it's all because those are the Winter months here in Australia. We've experienced our first bought of Winter weather over the past week or so and I can already feel a sense of dread taking hold of me.
At the start of every new season, I like to create a sort of mood board. The Winter board is always the most important. It helps to cheer my up somewhat and set the tone for the colder months, reminding me that although Summer is quite long gone, Winter can still hold the promise of beautiful things if I let it.
